Research Interests
Anthony's research focuses on the intersection of evolutionary biology, medicine, and nutrition and dietetics. Current research projects focus on diet quality, ultra-processed foods, fad diets, evolutionary misconceptions among nutrition students, and evolutionary applications of nutrition and diet choice to health. In addition, Anthony uses birds as a model organism to study hyperglycemia complications/diabetes for his doctoral dissertation.
